FREEDOM FREEDOM FREEDOM OI!!!
Yes...another Futurama quote...but one with relevance. I'm now officially free from all academic obligations. Classes and tests from Sapporo University are over...and the ICS final report has been sent and well...IT FEELS GOOD!!! For the next few weeks, until I get back to Sydney, I'm completely free...better enjoy this while it lasts.
And on the first day of total freedom...I went skiing!! Yes...again...this time, instead of paying close to 10,000yen, we paid only about 5400yen!!! Almost half price!!! Talk about getting ripped off last time. We didn't know about the special deals that JR had which bundle a return bus trip from Sapporo station, an all day lift pass and ski rentals!! I'm angry yet happy at the same time...didn't think that was possible...anyway...now that i know it's freakin cheap to go skiing, I plan to go at least 2 more times b4 I leave...such is the convenience of living so close to the mountains in Hokkaido...hehe...
Anyway...so today's ski trip...more of the same as last time...though this time it was me, Chris, Nhat and Ben who went. Ben and Nhat's first time skiing as well...we were kinda their instructors...can't say we were great at explaining what to do...afterall...Chris was snowboarding so he couldn't show them and I'm still a beginner...getting the hang of it now but still very much a novice. Suffice to say, Ben and Nhat had their fair share of crashes. Actually, Nhat not so much so because he was going kinda slow-ish...but Ben...man...was he going hard and fast...haha...exactly how I learnt how to ski in the first place. Photos will be posted up later...
Anyway...I'm tired...it's late...body isn't aching as much as the first time I went skiing...so maybe I'm already getting use to it?? Who knows...but regardless...I'm tired...
